OUR STORY

G&D Custom Homes was established in 2019. After working together for four years, Sofia and Patrick teamed up to start a new business venture doing what both of them love to do - making beautiful spaces! 


They began by buying and renovating dilapidated homes to increase home values and enhance local communities, and from there have also incorporated large and small renovations for private homeowners.


As the company continues to grow, Sofia and Patrick’s commitment to quality work remains.  They pride themselves on quality products and customer satisfaction with every project.


Each custom home is as unique as the home owner. Therefore, we provide individual attention to each question and concern. We are eager to share the details of the features and craftsmanship that define the quality of a new home and your renovation. We are available to spend as much time as needed to ensure full understanding and complete participation in the planning. Our knowledge and building experience enables our customers to make informed decisions.

PATRICK J. GREY

Patrick has over 24 years of knowledge and experience within the construction field. He started his career as an electrician where he managed and worked on large-scale commercial projects in addition to electrical updates and new construction installations within residential homes.


In 2017, Patrick also became an integral part of a 270 unit luxury apartment complex in Florham Park, where he was heavily involved in coordinating a property-wide $13 million renovation.


He leads the onsite team with ease and will only accept quality output. The extensive knowledge that he has is invaluable and his commitment to excellence is easily seen and felt in the final product of every project that G&D Custom Homes completes.

SOFIA D. TRACY

Sofia has always been passionate about all things real estate. She studied architecture, community development and project management at Syracuse University and Rutgers University and has been a licensed real estate salesperson for over 10 years servicing northern and central NJ.


She loves to work on new ideas to increase the value of homes and to experience the transformations from beginning to end.


Most projects involve various different departments, from local government to subcontractors to homeowners, and require the type of skills that Sofia provides. Managing multi-faceted renovations smoothly and efficiently is crucial for timely completion and consistent satisfaction. She prioritizes clear communication throughout and believes that it is the foundation to a successful process.
